Aveda was the first beauty company to use 100% post-consumer recycled materials in its packaging. More than 83% of Aveda´s waste is reused or recycled at its main factory.
Formulas do not include: ingredients of animal origin, parabens, mineral oils, petrolatum, paraffin, formaldehyde and its releasers, SLS, SLES, oxybenzone, benzene, retinyl palmitate, microcrystalline wax, polyethylene beads, triclosan, trichlorcarban, talc and fragrances synthetic.
Since its founding in 1978, it has always been against animal experimentation. In 2022, Aveda received the Leaping Bunny Approval certificate from Cruelty Free International.
